Uniforms at ARCHES Academy

ARCHES Academy is proud to be the unique K-8 public school option in Apache Junction and we love to show our school pride daily with our school uniforms! At ARCHES Academy, students wear uniforms to help foster unity, a sense of belonging, and a purpose for learning--it makes our days easier and more focused!

Our uniform consists of a collared, Polo-style shirt in light blue, light green, light yellow, or white with our ARCHES approved school logo imprinted on the left. Navy blue or khaki pants, shorts, skirts, shorts, or jumpers complete the uniform. Our mix and match tops and bottoms provide a bit of variety and choice without making decisions in the morning too tough. And our uniforms are comfortable, with elastics and soft materials in all the places that matter.

There are so many reasons to love our uniforms, but here are just a few of the benefits of wearing uniforms:

• School uniforms increase unity and school spirit. We create a sense of belonging and promote harmony within our community of learners at ARCHES when we proudly wear our logo.
• Uniforms improve school safety. By having students wear a uniform, we can easily recognize visitors to our campus. When we are off-campus for field trips, ARCHES students are highly visible in a crowd!
• Uniforms nurture a sense of equality among students. We can prevent bullying that may be based on socio-economic class or background when all students have a “level playing field” when it comes to clothes.
• When you take clothing choice off the table, you also decrease distractions at school. Fewer distractions make it easier to focus on learning instead of clothing.
• Uniforms save you money! Our uniforms are easy to find and much more cost effective than trendy children’s clothes.
• Get ready to eliminate wardrobe battles this year! Parents report that mornings are made easier when their child wears a uniform.

Accessible for All

ARCHES Academy students wear uniforms Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, we have a special “Dollar for Duds” day when children are invited to pay $1 for a free dress day. The money we raise goes directly to a uniform fund to support the purchase of uniforms for families in need.

We have uniforms with logos for sale at our school. You can also purchase white, blue, and yellow shirts in the local community and add our ARCHES logo for just $1 per shirt. If you would like assistance purchasing uniforms, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
