Yes, we require uniforms to promote unity among students and an educational environment free from distraction and disharmony. Our full dress code can be found here: ARCHES Academy Dress Code
We are excited to announce that we recently purchased buses for the 2021-22 school year! Please call the school office for bus routes. We can accommodate most requests for transportation.
We participate in the national food program, and breakfast and lunch are provided for all students free of charge. Students are welcome to bring their own sack lunches if they prefer. We ask parents to help students make good choices in the foods they eat by providing nutritional foods that are low in sugar, fat, salt, and artificial colors. We also ask that foods that are sent be edible without the need for heating.
The school has been deep cleaned and prepared for the arrival of students. Sanitizer is available in all student areas. Students are taught correct hand washing technique and encouraged to regularly wash hands and cover coughs and sneezes appropriately. High-touch surfaces will be sanitized several times throughout each day and all surfaces will be sanitized at least daily. Distance will be maintained as possible. Students and staff that choose to wear masks may do so. Staff will do visual health checks of all students upon arrival. No one will be allowed to remain on campus who are showing any symptoms.
Our address is 1150 W. Superstition Blvd, Apache Junction, AZ 85120. We are splitting this campus with the AZ Vedic Cultural Center who uses the front-most building on the campus. We use most of the rest of the property. We are not affiliated with the Vedic Center and the Center should not be approached for any inquiries about ARCHES Academy.
Any child that is at least 5 years old by December 31st of the current year, has not yet completed the eighth grade, and completes all of the enrollment paperwork may enroll in ARCHES Academy. ARCHES is an especially good choice for students who find the idea of moving at their own pace to be appealing or those for whom individualized, hands-on education would be helpful.
